Doug Sweeny is a marketing executive who has led brand and growth initiatives at major consumer and health technology companies, including Levi’s, Nest, One Medical, and Oura.Health. He’s known for repositioning brands, driving direct-to-consumer and membership revenue, and scaling product-to-platform transitions in health and lifestyle categories.

Doug Sweeny began his career on the agency side, working at creative agencies where he developed broad category experience across automotive, apparel, footwear and technology, which informed his later brand leadership roles. He transitioned into in-house brand roles and rose to senior marketing positions, including VP Global Brand Marketing at Levi Strauss & Co., where he led the “Go Forth” revitalization and oversaw global marketing across more than 100 countries. After Levi’s, Sweeny moved into consumer technology and connected products, serving as CMO at Nest where he oversaw brand and consumer experience as the company scaled from startup to a mainstream household brand. His work at Nest and with other tech-forward companies established his reputation for combining creative brand storytelling with product-led growth. In healthcare, Sweeny served as Chief Marketing Officer of One Medical, where he led marketing strategy and growth for a technology-enabled primary care business—work that gained attention during a period of high interest in healthcare consumerization. He was recognized among marketing leaders for his role in mission-driven, innovation-led organizations. Most recently, Sweeny joined Oura.Health as Chief Marketing Officer to reposition the Oura smart ring into a broader health and membership platform, driving distribution into retail partners, launching new membership features, and overseeing brand, DTC and membership revenue channels while emphasizing member experience and product integrations.
