Scott Galloway - Biography

Scott Galloway is a clinical professor of marketing at NYU Stern, teaching brand strategy and digital marketing while analyzing Big Tech firms like Amazon, Apple, Meta, and Google. He founded companies including Prophet, RedEnvelope, L2, and Section, and is a New York Times bestselling author.

Scott Galloway earned a B.A. in Economics from UCLA in 1987 and an M.B.A. in Marketing from UC Berkeley in 1992. He worked as a fixed income analyst at Morgan Stanley before founding Prophet, a global brand consultancy. He launched RedEnvelope, an e-commerce site, and L2, a business intelligence firm acquired by Gartner for $155 million. Galloway joined NYU Stern School of Business as a clinical professor of marketing in 2002. He is a bestselling author and hosts popular podcasts and newsletters.
