Your data
What happens to what you say.
If you choose to answer by voice or text, you should know where those words go before you say anything real. This is the plain version. The formal one is the privacy policy, and it wins where the two differ.
Your answers stay yours
Everything you tell the board is saved to your account. You can read any of it back inside the app, whenever you want.
You can also delete it. One answer, or all of them, any time you decide.
They help shape future ideas
Your answers have one main job: helping shape future ideas. Answer when you want to give the app more context about what you are dealing with. Stay quiet and you still receive ideas.
The more context you choose to share, the more context the app can consider when shaping future ideas.
How the AI handles them
To write the board's positions, we send your words, along with the relevant published material, to an outside AI provider. The provider processes that text and returns the positions you read. We send only what is needed to do the job.
Where a provider offers a setting that keeps your data out of its model training, we turn that setting on. Providers may keep short-term logs for abuse monitoring, typically 30 days or less, as the privacy policy describes.
What we never do
- ✓We never sell your personal information.
- ✓We never use your answers to write in a mentor's voice. What you read is AI synthesis of published work, labelled as such.
- ✓We never show your answers to other users, and we never publish them.
Deleting it
Delete any answer, or your whole account, from inside the app. You can also email privacy@getmentors.ai and we will act on it.
A few records must be kept for a time because the law requires it, billing records for example. Everything else goes.
The formal version
This page is the plain reading. The privacy policy is the document that binds us: what we collect, who processes it, how long it is kept, and the rights you hold.
