What happens to what you say.
When you ask your board, by voice or text, you should know where those words go before you say anything real. This is the plain version. The formal one is the privacy policy, and it wins where the two differ.
Your words stay yours
Your questions and replies are saved to your account, so each thread stays in one place. You can read any of it back inside the app, whenever you want.
You can delete your account, and everything with it, any time you decide.
It remembers only what you keep
Nothing about you is remembered unless you choose Keep it. What you keep helps later answers fit your situation.

How the AI handles them
To write what your board says, we send your questions and replies, anything you chose to keep, and the relevant published material to our AI providers, Anthropic and OpenAI. They also check questions for safety. We send only what is needed to do the job.
The app asks your permission before it sends anything, and you can withdraw it in You. Voice is turned into text on your iPhone, and the recording never leaves it.
Where a provider offers a setting that keeps your data out of its model training, we turn that setting on. Providers may keep short-term logs for abuse monitoring, typically 30 days or less, as the privacy policy describes.
What we never do
- ✓We never sell your personal information.
- ✓We never use your answers to write in a mentor's voice. What you read is an AI summary of what each person has said in public, labelled as such.
- ✓We never show your answers to other users, and we never publish them.
Deleting it
Delete your account in You, and it is deleted straight away. You can also email privacy@getmentors.ai and we will act on it.
A few records must be kept for a time because the law requires it, billing records for example. Everything else goes.
