Your first 5 questions and replies are free. After that you choose a plan. New subscribers to the annual plan get seven days free, and the $39.99/year charge lands on day 8 unless you cancel. The monthly plan is billed $7.99/month from day one. The App Store shows the exact price and date before you confirm anything.
What do I actually get?
Ask a question and each person on your board gets a card: a short summary of what they have said that bears on it, and where they said it. A line at the top shows where your board agrees and where it splits. Reply, and your board answers in the same thread.
Is this just a chatbot with extra steps?
Get Mentors gives you several perspectives, each pointing to where the person said it. You see the trade-off instead of one confident answer.
Are these really the mentors, or an impression of them?
Neither. These are AI summaries of what each person has said in public, labelled as such and written in the third person. Words in quotation marks are only ever words we hold from a named source. No mentor wrote them or endorses the app.
Do I have to use it every day?
No. There are no streaks. Ask when something is on your mind.
Can I cancel?
Any time, in your App Store settings. On the annual plan, cancel before day 7 and you are never charged.
