To connect the world's most successful and knowledgeable people, across every industry, with the generation coming up behind them.

That is the real goal. Everything else is how we get there.

Nobody with a full calendar gives their time to an app that nobody reads. So we start at the other end. We take what these people have already published and put one idea from it in front of someone every morning, with the source attached.

Do that well enough and we have something worth bringing to a mentor in person. Not a favor to ask. People already reading their work, and a number to prove it.

Jesse spent ten years in sales, startups, and software, including building apps at FanDuel, before starting Get Mentors in 2023. He built it because he could not find anything that put real, sourced mentor thinking in front of him on an ordinary morning.

What we got wrong first

The first Get Mentors handed you a goal and a list of things to do. Daily actions, check-ins, boxes to tick. We built three versions of it.

People signed up, did it for a few days, and stopped. Not because the actions were bad. Because we were handing more work to people whose days were already full.

So we took all of it out. What is left is one idea in the morning, five cited mentor perspectives, and whatever you want to say back.

What we will not do

We never write in a mentor's voice and we never put words in their mouth. What you read is AI synthesis of published work, labelled as such, with a link back to the source so you can check it. Being in the library is not an endorsement of us. No mentor in the app has endorsed Get Mentors.
