Indra Nooyi served as CEO of PepsiCo from 2006 to 2018, leading the company through global expansion and the 'Performance with Purpose' initiative for sustainable growth. She was the first woman of color and immigrant to lead a Fortune 50 company.

Indra Nooyi was born on October 28, 1955, in Madras (now Chennai), India. She pursued higher education and moved to the United States, gaining U.S. citizenship. Early in her career, she held management positions at The Boston Consulting Group, Motorola, and ABB. Nooyi joined PepsiCo in 1994, advancing to President and CFO before becoming CEO in 2006 and Chair in 2007. She was the chief architect of 'Performance with Purpose,' focusing on sustained growth through healthier products and environmental responsibility. Post-PepsiCo, Nooyi has served on Amazon's board and Philips' supervisory board.
