Jamie Dimon is an American billionaire banker who has served as chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase since 2006, transforming it into the largest U.S. bank by assets through strategic acquisitions and crisis navigation.

Jamie Dimon was born on March 13, 1956, in New York City to Theodore and Themis Dimon. A Queens native with a family background in finance, Dimon earned a bachelor's degree from Tufts University and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1982. He started as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group before joining American Express under Sandy Weill. Dimon's ascent accelerated in the 1980s and 1990s alongside Weill.
