Arnold Schwarzenegger was born on July 30, 1947, in Thal, Austria. He began weight training at age 15 and became the youngest Mr. Universe winner in 1967. Emigrating to the U.S. in 1968, he dominated bodybuilding, securing five Mr. Universe titles and seven Mr. Olympia titles. Transitioning to acting, his breakthrough came with Conan the Barbarian (1982), followed by The Terminator (1984). In 2003, Schwarzenegger won California's gubernatorial recall election, serving until 2011. Post-governorship, he returned to acting, business, authorship, and advocacy for climate action and fitness.
