David Goggins was born on February 17, 1975, in Buffalo, New York. His childhood was marked by severe abuse, leading to a challenging upbringing. Goggins completed elite SEAL training on his third attempt and served for over 20 years, becoming the only SEAL to complete SEAL training, U.S. Army Ranger School, and Air Force Tactical Air Controller training. Post-military, he turned to ultra-endurance events, competing in over 70 ultra-marathons, triathlons, and ultra-triathlons.
