Josh Altman is an American luxury real estate agent, investor, and reality-TV personality best known for appearing on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. He co-leads The Altman Brothers team with his brother Matt, specializes in high-end Los Angeles markets, and has been repeatedly ranked among the top U.S. teams by sales volume.

Joshua Altman was born March 10, 1979, in Newton, Massachusetts, and raised in a Jewish family; he graduated from Newton South High School before attending Syracuse University, where he earned a degree in Speech Communications in 2001. Early on he pursued several business ventures including real estate investing and running a real estate finance/mortgage company prior to moving into luxury residential brokerage in Los Angeles. After relocating to Los Angeles, Altman and his brother Matt formed The Altman Brothers at the brokerage Hilton & Hyland, focusing on the 'Platinum Triangle' markets of Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, the Sunset Strip and Hollywood Hills. He built a clientele that includes entertainers, athletes, and international buyers and established a reputation for record transactions in Southern California luxury condo and single-family markets. Altman’s public profile rose through television: he has been a main cast member on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and has made guest appearances on other entertainment programs, which increased his visibility and contributed to his national ranking among top real estate teams. Over his career he has expanded The Altman Brothers into a multi-agent team with offices and activity across Southern California and adjacent markets. In addition to brokerage, Altman speaks publicly and sells educational products and trainings about sales, negotiation, and real estate investing; he is represented for speaking engagements by agencies that describe him as a top 1% agent who has closed billions in career sales.
