LeBron James is an American professional basketball player widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time, with four NBA championships and four NBA MVP awards. He became the NBA's all-time leading scorer in 2023.
LeBron James was born in Akron, Ohio, on December 30, 1984, and rose to prominence at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. Drafted first overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003, he quickly became a star, earning six All-Star selections and the 2008 scoring title during his first stint with Cleveland. In 2010, James joined the Miami Heat, winning NBA championships in 2012 and 2013. Returning to Cleveland in 2014, he delivered the city's first NBA title in 2016. He then signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018, winning a championship in 2020. Off the court, he has pursued business interests in media production via SpringHill Company and advocated for education through the LeBron James Family Foundation's I Promise School.
