Sundar Pichai is an Indian-American executive serving as CEO of both Google and Alphabet Inc. He joined Google in 2004, leading development of key products like Chrome, Android, and AI initiatives.
Sundar Pichai was born on June 10, 1972, in Madras, India. He attended public schools and earned a degree in metallurgical engineering from IIT Kharagpur, followed by a master's from Stanford University and an MBA from Wharton. Pichai began his career at Applied Materials and McKinsey & Company before joining Google in 2004. At Google, he led the development of Chrome and Chrome OS, and oversaw Android, Google+, Maps, Search, and more. In 2015, he became Google's CEO, and in 2019, he was appointed CEO of Alphabet Inc. Under his leadership, Google has prioritized AI advancements and expanded its hardware and cloud services.
